ROGER DUNCAN II
Roger Duncan grew up in western Oklahoma but inevitably found himself drawn to the forests and mountains of Colorado. From serving as a firefighter to snowboarding, hiking and exploring in the Rocky Mountains, he’s always followed his passions and often chased the biggest thrill. The search for the perfect picture to encapsulate those experiences has become a natural extension of Roger’s journey.
Originally inspired by his father, who introduced him to photography, as well as outdoor sports on the lakes and landscapes of Oklahoma, Roger has since extensively self-trained in photography techniques. With a particular focus on lighting and composition, his work highlights the natural beauty of Colorado-- and all other wild places. He is driven to capture a unique perspective on the outdoors, beyond the run-of-the-mill image.
Roger currently resides in rural Mineral County, Colorado with his wife, Lisa, and their Alaskan Malamute, Albus. His photographs have been featured in a variety of art shows, journals, and exhibitions.
In appreciation of your interest in his artwork and Roger’s own gratitude for every new opportunity, a portion of the proceeds of any Roger Duncan Fine Art Photography purchase supports our various charitable institutions.
The majesty of the outdoors beckons every day!
